Books for Development has been shipping books to developing communities for 9 years. 2019 was our most productive year ever thanks to the wonderful swell of volunteers working in our warehouse sorting and packing these boxes of books. We shipped 5 containers of books.
Our largest expense by far is shipping costs. Remember, we are an all volunteer organization. There are no salaries or compensation.
Please consider a small gift to help us stay on pace next year. Each 40 foot container carries over 30,000 books. That is 30,000 books not being used here at home but that will be so greatly appreciated in a community with little or no reading material. Each of you has experienced first hand the variety and quality of the books being shipped. It is a win-win situation.
