Developing Countries are experiencing a book famine. You can help.

Help us send 1 million books!

On his first trip to Uganda, Mark Cotham learned what villagers wanted most for their families was education and literacy. They saw this as the true path to improving their lives. Mark brought this request back to his church in Houston and the seeds for the future “Books for Development” were planted.

To date, Books for Development has shipped over 815,000 books to 7 different countries. This was accomplished through donations of books and many volunteer hours sorting and packing these books. $1 sends a book to a developing country. $30 sends a box of books. $18,000 sends a 40 foot container which will establish 8 to 10 community or school libraries.
